Internationale waterregelingen

 

Beleidsmakers stimuleren vooral samenwerkingsprojecten, soms voor multidisciplinariteit, soms voor privaat-publieke samenwerkingen. De duurzaamheid van activiteiten volgens de vijf criteria (financieel, institutioneel, ecologisch, technisch en sociaal) staat centraal.

Het bevorderen van private investeringen in ontwikkelende landen wordt belangrijker, omdat de investeringsopgave niet meer door de internationale financiële instellingen kan worden gefinancierd.
